DetailsIt is with heavy hearts and abiding faith that we share the passing of our beloved pastor, Reverend Lincoln M. Burruss Jr. As the third pastor of Central Baptist Church Camp Springs, Pastor Burruss shepherded our congregation with wisdom, compassion, and an unwavering love for Christ. His faithful ministry and gentle spirit touched countless lives, and his legacy of service will remain a blessing to our church family for years to come.
We ask for your continued prayers for the Burruss family and for our congregation during this season of mourning. As one church family, we take comfort in God’s Word: “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4)
In the days ahead, our church leadership will prayerfully begin the process of seeking a new pastor to lead Central Baptist Church into its next chapter. We trust in the Lord’s guidance and timing as we move forward together in faith.
