The Central Baptist Church of Camp Springs is conveniently located at 5600 Old Branch Avenue in Camp Springs, Maryland (Beltway exit 7A). Since our Ribbon-Cutting ceremony in December 2005, we have become an integral and vital part of the community.
Our worship services are open to all as are the many youth, adult and senior programs. Additionally, we host a very successful and beneficial “Food Share” program for members and non-members alike. Some of our other programs include community outreach, prison and inmate outreach, basketball programs, cheerleader training, Sunday school, Bible Study and a liturgical dance ministry.
The Sanctuary accommodates approximately 750 worshippers per service and offers a warm, friendly and family-oriented Christian experience. Baptisms are performed each fourth Sunday in the beautiful baptismal pool positioned just behind the pulpit.
Our facility also houses a regulation-sized basketball court as well as a banquet hall that seats up to 450 guests. The commercial kitchen has been certified by Prince Georges County and operates in conjunction with the hall. The banquet hall is available for lease for such festivities as wedding receptions, retirement parties, anniversary celebrations and various community functions.
